Information Collection and Use
The Center for Information Technology and Management (CITM) is the sole owner
of the information collected on this site. The center will not sell, share
or rent this information to others in ways different from what is
disclosed in this statement. CITM collects information from its
users at several places on its Web site.
Sharing
CITM will share aggregated demographic information with its partners. This is
not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
The center uses an outside credit card processing company to bill users for
event reservations. This company does not retain, share, store or
use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

This Web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that CITM is not
responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. The center encourages its
users to be aware when they leave CITM's site to read the privacy statements
of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information.
This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web site.
Reservation
CITM requests information from its users on the reservation form for CITM-sponsored events.
Here a user must provide contact information and financial information which is used for billing purposes and to fill users'
reservations. If CITM has trouble processing a reservation, this contact information
is used to get in touch with the user.
The Web server maintaining this site may automatically collect information
about which pages are visited and the domain names of visitors, but does not
collect information that personally identifies a visitor. The information collected
may be used for internal review or maintenance purposes.
Special Offers
CITM sends all new members a welcoming email to verify password and username.
Established members will occasionally receive information about events and a newsletter.
Out of respect for the privacy of CITM's users, the center offers the option to decline
these types of communications. Please see CITM's choice and opt-out policies below.
Site and Service Updates
CITM also sends the user site service announcement updates. Members are not
able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information
about the service. The center communicates with the user to provide requested services
and about issues relating to their account via email or phone.
Correction/Updating Personal Information
If a user's personally identifiable information (such as zip code) changes
or if a user no longer desires the center's service, CITM will try to provide
a way to correct, update or remove that user’s personal data.

Notification of Changes
If CITM decides to change its privacy policy, we will post those changes on CITM's
homepage so that users are always aware of what information is collected and how it is used and disclosed. If the center
decides to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from
that stated at the time it was collected, CITM will notify users by
email, and users may decide to opt-out.
